Is there a difference?

What are the problems with a lie?

Well, it is a lie.

Deception.

Discomfort.

Distress.

It’s supposed to be evil.

Really?

If lies give hope,

while truth brings desperation,

What is the choice?

Kindness is more important than intelligence.

What happens, then, to a lie being evil?

Is a lie evil?

It is fake.

Fake may conceal reality,

but it gives way eventually.

What about all the creativity in this world?

It is fake in the beginning.

Fiction is fraudulent.

Dreams are deceiving.

But they are inspiring.

Are they lies?

That is not what lies mean.

What is the definition of lies?

Coming from imagination,

non-existent in reality.

“The Machine Stops” on social media.

“The Fun They Had” while online learning.

Once fabricated; now true.

Nothing is certain; it is all given names and definitions.

Lies could become truth.

Why are people trying to seek “truth?”

If lies could bring happiness,

What are the reasons for exploring truths that bring unknowns?

Why jeopardize certainty with uncertainty?

Genes carry curiosity.

Improvement or self-destruction?
