Michelangelo replicas

You can get a close look at reproductions of Michelangelo’s frescos in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel at an exhibition (98 yuan) running until Oct. 15. The exhibition features full-size replicas of the artist’s works at the Sistine Chapel: “Genesis” and “The Last Judgment.”

Shenzhen Museum

Botanical scientific illustrations and herbariums from the Tianjin Natural History Museum are also on display until Nov. 7. And old photos recording Shenzhen’s development in the past four decades are also on display until Oct. 10.

Leandro Erlich

Argentine conceptual artist Leandro Erlich has brought his 12 installations for visitors at “The Confines of the Great Void” (128 yuan) running until Nov. 7. You may find people hanging on the facade of a building or fully clothed people walk in a swimming pool. More other exhibitions are also being held.

Monet art

Replicas of Claude Monet’s paintings collected by the Museum of Fine Arts Boston in the United States are on display at an exhibition (200 yuan) until Dec. 15. The exhibition also installs recreated scenes inspired by Monet’s paintings.

He Xiangning Art Museum

Masterpieces collected by patriotic entrepreneur Liao Anxiang (1907-1997) are on display with historical documents and photos related to the 1941 rescue of 800 patriotic intellectuals during the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Another exhibition showcases paintings created by painters in Yangzhou in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Both exhibitions run until Oct. 10.
