SHENZHEN enterprises’ innovative technologies and solutions have become showstoppers at the 2021 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, which opened Sunday in Wuzhen, East China’s Zhejiang Province, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported. The three-day event features 20 subforums, a global internet competition, an internet expo and a ceremony to announce this year’s leading Internet technological achievements. HamonyOS, Huawei’s self-developed operating system, was selected in the summit’s 14 internet technological achievements this year. Two Shenzhen enterprises also got listed in the 12 high-quality cases of building a community of shared future in cyberspace, which was released a day before the summit’s opening. The cases are Tencent Meeting and Huawei RuralStar Pro. More than 300 internet technological achievements from home and abroad, including countries such as the U.S. and Russia, had participated in the selection. The applications mainly focus on industrial empowerment and coordinated development, smart society and public governance, social life and public services, social responsibility and digital public welfare, and high-perception smart life, and cover 5G, quantum computing, high-end chips, high-performance computers, network architecture, and other related fields. The Light of the Internet Expo, one of the summit’s highlights, attracted more than 340 Chinese and foreign enterprises and institutions, including 14 innovation-oriented enterprises that debuted at the summit. The Shenzhen enterprises mainly display new technologies, applications and products in big data, cloud services, blockchain, 5G applications, artificial intelligence, intelligent hardware, e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce and industrial internet fields.
