Hyun-ju Han Global Economic News SOUTH KOREAN electronics giant Samsung Electronics topped a U.S. customer satisfaction index in a report titled “household appliance and electronics study” conducted by ACSI (American Customer Satisfaction Index). The ACSI annually evaluates consumer satisfaction with product and service quality provided by more than 400 companies in 47 industries in the U.S. market. The study was conducted by interviewing 7,960 U.S. consumers from July last year to June this year. Samsung’s household appliance products ranked first with 80 points, 3 percent higher than last year. In particular, Samsung was the only firm that improved consumer satisfaction in the household appliances category. |
