Ding Cong’s caricatures

Master Ding Cong’s caricatures related to the 1941 rescue of 800 patriotic intellectuals during the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression are on display until Oct. 7.

Ceramic art

Two young U.S. artists, Ryan LaBar and Jeffery Stephen Miller, are exhibiting their ceramic works at an exhibition until Oct. 10.

African art

Artifacts from more than 10 African countries are on display at an exhibition until Nov. 14.

‘Pixel Shajing’

“Pixel Shajing: Historical and Contemporary Photography Exhibition” running until Oct. 17 ranges from the old time to the future, covering artworks including photography, video, new media, and installations associated with Shajing in Bao’an District. For more than 1,000 years, the Shajing people have been raising oysters and in 2007, the oyster breeding in Shajing, along with other local customs related to oysters, was listed in Shenzhen’s intangible cultural heritage.

Anselm Reyle’s art

Mixed media artworks created by German artist Anselm Reyle are on display at ArtBay until Oct. 25. The visual quality of Reyle’s works is determined by the materials he selected, such as foils, acrylic glass, neon lights and metals.
