Han Ximin 1824295095@qq.com SHENZHEN Bao’an International Airport put its far-end parking lot into official use Tuesday. The No. 4 Parking Lot (P4) opened nearly 1,200 parking spots to address the parking space shortage, especially during holidays like the upcoming National Day holiday. P4 now has a total of 1,800 parking spots, including around 600 spots designed for app-based cabs, which were put into use earlier in August. The parking lot is located at the intersection of Linghang No. 4 Road and Konggang No. 2 Road, which is about 2.5 kilometers from Terminal 3 (T3), according to a relase from the Shenzhen airport Tuesday. Given the distance, the airport will arrange free buses to shuttle passengers between P4 and T3. The trip generally takes three to five minutes, with buses departing between the two places in five to 10 minutes’ intervals. According to the airport, its near-end parking lots P1, P2 and P3, which are close to the Ground Transportation Center, offer 4,400 parking spots with a daily parking volume of 18,000 vehicles. Parking fees for these lots will be appropriately increased for vehicles parked for over two hours. P4 is equipped with 280 charging poles, a cafeteria, toilets and rest areas for drivers and passengers. Electric cars can be fully recharged for about 40 minutes, and fees can be paid via WeChat or Alipay. |
