Violin recital

‘Pixel Shajing’

“Pixel Shajing: Historical and Contemporary Photography Exhibition” running until Oct. 17 ranges from the old time to the future, covering artworks including photography, video, new media, and installations associated with Shajing in Bao’an District. People there have been raising oysters for more than 1,000 years.

‘Atlas Obscura’

Chinese artist Sun Xun is exhibiting his paintings and videos based on his animated film “Magic of Atlas” at the “Atlas Obscura” exhibition running until Oct. 30. “Magic of Atlas” combines the styles of woodcut, contemporary painting, Persian miniature painting and traditional Chinese painting to tell a story that is closely related to Sun’s artistic residency experiences in different parts of the world.

Tapestry art
