Sound exhibition

Sound recordings from the British Library and sound samples collected in Pingshan District are on display at an exhibition running until Feb. 20, 2022.

Shenzhen Museum

Botanical scientific illustrations and herbariums from the Tianjin Natural History Museum are on display until Nov. 7. Finely printed ancient books dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) are also on display until Dec. 5.

Monet’s art

Replicas of Claude Monet’s paintings collected by the Museum of Fine Arts Boston in the United States are on display at an exhibition (200 yuan) until Dec. 15. The exhibition also installs recreated scenes inspired by Monet’s paintings.

Sea World

Argentine conceptual artist Leandro Erlich has brought his 12 installations at “The Confines of the Great Void” (128 yuan) running until Nov. 7. Italian architect, designer and artist Gaetano Pesce is exhibiting his bewildering works at another exhibition running until next year.

Michelangelo replicas

Shenzheners can get a close look at reproductions of Michelangelo’s frescos in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel at an exhibition (98 yuan) running until tomorrow. The exhibition features full-size replicas of the artist’s works at the Sistine Chapel: “Genesis” and “The Last Judgment.”
