    2021-10-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A TOTAL of 1,740 exhibits showing China’s achievements in scientific and technological innovation during the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020) are on display at the Beijing Exhibition Center in Beijing until tomorrow.

The exhibits, including originals and models, range from quantum computers to China’s space station, Mars rover, the Chang’e-5 lunar probe, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope, the Striver deep-sea manned submersible and the 600 kilometers-per-hour high-speed maglev train.

The seven-day exhibition is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Reform and Development Commission and the Beijing Municipal Government, among others. Visitors can learn and appreciate how innovations are benefiting their lives and the country’s strategic needs as the nation’s research and engineering capabilities grow.(Xinhua)
