TWENTY years ago, the Chinese and Russian heads of state signed the “Treaty of Good Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation.” This historic document has laid a solid foundation for long-term stable cooperation in various areas.

Today’s China-Russia relationship is growing even stronger and solid as a rock. It has become a bilateral relationship between two major countries and neighbors with the highest level of mutual trust, coordination and strategic value.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty, deepen the mutual understanding between the young students of Russia and China and pass on the traditions of good-neighborliness and friendship, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, the Department of International Academy Exchange and Cooperation organized a contest for essay writing for all students with a theme of “China-Russia friendship in my heart.”
