ABOUT 1,600 personal information of people who applied for South Korean conglomerate SK Group’s recruitment test was leaked.

“We recognized through an external report Nov. 4 that some pages of SKCT [SK Competency Test] agency’s administration website were exposed,” SK said Tuesday.

SK immediately blocked the pages and restricted external access to the server. As there was possibility that personal information may be retrieved from some search engines, it also requested to delete them.

The leaked data include name, date of birth, gender, applicants’ ID, test results, application date and applied company. SK said mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses were not leaked.
