5-meter-long python caught near Metro station
    2021-11-12  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Officers bring a giant python to a transfer station in Baoshizhou, Nanshan District, on Tuesday.  Workers at the construction site near Hongshuwan South Station in Nanshan found a 5-meter-long python weighing about 30 kilograms Tuesday. The community emergency office under Shahe Subdistrict, police officers and staffers from Shenzhen Wildlife Rescue and Protection Center then took the python, a level-II State protected species, to safety and conducted a health check.  The python will be released to the wild after a clean bill of health.  Zhao Lin
