Amber and crystals

Amber stones and decorative objects, as well as mineral crystals, are on display for visitors to admire the hidden gifts presented by nature. The amber exhibition runs until March 10, 2022 while the mineral crystal exhibition ends Dec. 12.

OCT-LOFT is opening up a refreshing new series of public art, enhancing the pedestrian experience in the area.

Nanshan Museum

Han Dynasty (202 B.C-A.D. 220) relics from Hebei Province are on display until this Sunday. Visitors should not miss a jade burial suit and a replica of the Changxin Palace Lamp at the exhibition. Meanwhile, relics on loan from the Guo State Museum that was built on the burial ground of the Guo State in the Zhou Dynasty (1046-256 B.C.) in Henan Province are also on display until May 15, 2022.

He Xiangning Art Museum

Chinese artist Wang Shaoqiang is exhibiting his unique paintings at the “Jade Treatment: Discussing the Impact of Wang Shaoqiang’s Art” exhibition until Dec. 12. Meanwhile paintings by 12 notable Chinese female artists active in the first half of the 20th century, including He Xiangning, Yu Feng, Wu Qingxia and Lu Xiaoman, are also on display until Jan. 3, 2022.

SZ Bougainvillea Show

Dazzling blooms, creative installations and stunning landscape gardens are enchanting floral aficionados as the annual 2021 Shenzhen Bougainvillea Show is being held at Lianhua Hill Park until Dec. 10. In addition to various species, bougainvillea-featured works created by horticultural experts and residents are also on display.
