Wutong Mountain listed as photography spot
    2021-12-09  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

WUTONG Mountain national scenic spot was included in 2021 Guangdong destinations for photography. The inaugurating ceremony was held at the Hero Slope Square on Tuesday morning.

Wutong Mountain is one of the 10 destinations for photography in Guangdong Province that were selected by Guangdong Photographers Association this year.

The scenic spot spans three districts namely Luohu, Yantian and Longgang, covering an area of 42.04 square kilometers.

The mountain has been a recognized scenic spot as early as the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) when it was included in the Eight Great Views of Xin’an County and was celebrated in poetry.

At 943.7 meters high, Wutong Mountain is the tallest mountain in Shenzhen. Standing at the summit, visitors can see a beautiful view overlooking Dapeng Bay and the mountains in Hong Kong.

Wutong Mountain has always been a destination for photographers and award-winning works from photograhers Tan Weiming and Sun Chengyi were shot in the area.  (Wang Jingli)
