







A DAYTRIP to Guanlan Print Village in Longhua District in this warm winter is an excellent choice, as Longhua Art Month is being celebrated in the village throughout this month. Visitors can wear traditional Chinese hanfu clothing as they wander the streets of the village where centuries-old Hakka houses and diaolou buildings merge with modern public art. To borrow hanfu to wear, scan the QR code below. On the afternoon of Dec. 25, traditional Chinese music and magic acts will be performed on the old stage in the village. You can get immersed in light shows in the village every Saturday and Sunday night. Every Saturday, let’s play chess by the pond in the west area of the village, and every Sunday afternoon, you can appreciate ancient Chinese poetry reading in the bamboo forest in the east part of the village. Starting Dec. 20, riddles will decorate roads and old houses for you to solve and there will be painting and printmaking events for children to participate in every Sunday afternoon. Guanlan Print Village, where there are galleries, art shops, workshops and exhibition spaces, serves as a base for the creative printing industry and is home to a number of national and international print events.
