PERU international midfielder Raziel Garcia has agreed to join Deportes Tolima for the 2022 season, the Colombian top-flight club said Tuesday.

The 27-year-old’s arrival comes less than a week after he parted ways with Peru’s Cienciano del Cusco a year before his contract was due to expire.

“There is an agreement! The Peruvian player Raziel Garcia will join the Claret and Gold on Jan. 2,” Deportes Tolima said in a Twitter post accompanied by a photograph of the playmaker shaking hands with club owner Gabriel Camargo. Details of the contract were not disclosed.

Garcia has been capped three times for Peru, having made his international debut against Colombia during this year’s Copa America in Brazil.

Deportes Tolima hosted Deportivo Cali in the second leg of the Colombian top-flight title decider yesterday.
