HAROLD PRECIADO converted a late penalty as Deportivo Cali beat Deportes Tolima 2-1 away to secure their 10th Colombian top flight title Wednesday.

Julian Quinones had given the hosts an early lead in the second leg of the Primera A Clausura final before Jhon Vazquez put Cali on level terms with a cool finish just before the hour mark.

Preciado held his nerve from the spot after an Eduar Caicedo handball 15 minutes from time.

The result handed Deportivo Cali a 3-2 victory on aggregate after the teams drew 1-1 in Sunday’s first leg.

“I’m over the moon,” Preciado told reporters after the match.
