THE last few weeks we have been blessed with gorgeous weather with very comfortable temperatures. This type of weather attracts thousands of people to the beautiful Shenzhen Bay Park. More people come by car, which leads to a shortage of parking spots. This results in people parking on Wanghai Road and Binhai Boulevard. Also near the entry points of the parking lots there are very long queues of cars spilling over into the driving lanes and even sometimes the second driving lane. I have a few suggestions to solve or minimize this issue: 1) Develop a parking app so drivers can be guided to the nearest available parking space. 2) Make a BIG and CLEAR sign that once the exit/waiting lanes to the parking lot are full, no one is allowed to queue up on the main driving lanes. 3) Arrange free shuttle buses from designated parking lots to the nearest entry of the park.
