FUJIAN labored over 120 minutes to defeat Zhejiang with a 3-2 victory Sunday here in the 2021-22 Chinese Women’s Volleyball Super League.

Before Sunday’s match, Fujian was ninth in the league while Zhejiang occupied eighth place, with both sides targeting a top-eight finish this season.

Fujian recovered from a 25-19 loss in first set to win the second set 25-20, but saw themselves trailing again after Zhejiang took the third set 26-24.

Both sides traded blows in the final two sets before Fujian outlasted their opponents 25-16 and 15-7.
