The U.S., Lawyer In the second year of the pandemic, I returned to China after being stranded in the U.S. for more than a year. During this year, the international business of the Chinese law firm where I work changed dramatically. However, as is always the case in China, new opportunities soon arose. My firm recently opened a new office in Haikou, and we will help foreign companies that wish to invest in China take advantage of tax incentives recently made available in Hainan. I will also be helping Chinese companies that wish to take part in the government’s initiative to promote China’s story and culture abroad. It looks like there will be plenty to do. |
