SHENZHEN, with its luscious environment and its presence on the route of the big migration of birds from Siberia to the southern hemisphere, turns into a paradise for birders in winter. The Shenzhen Bay area, the Mangrove Reserve and several parks in town have on weekends attracted many birders young and old with their cameras. The game is a test of patience and asks for the magic touch of good luck; birders are rewarded with the prize of breathtaking pictures they proudly share on their WeChat Moments.
