Ride-hailing cars BY the end of 2021, Shenzhen had had 29 ride-hailing platforms with 79,821 vehicles and 197,044 drivers complying with relevant regulations, according to data released by the Municipal Transport Bureau. Shenzhen’s online ride-hailing service providers include Didi, Shouqi, Shenzhou and Feidi. The number of compliant cars and drivers has increased by over 20 percent in the first half of 2021; and in the second half, each ride-hailing vehicle completed an average 10.5 trips per day, slightly lower than the 10.9 trips in the first half of the year. Child seats on bus A BATCH of BYD-manufactured buses with child safety seats has been put into operation in Shenzhen recently. The new bus, called BYD B7, is 7 meters long and is equipped with an LED screen displaying the route number. There are 12 seats on the bus, including one forward-facing seat for child passengers that are 85 to 120 centimeters tall. The seat cushion can also be extended for adult passengers to use. Express delivery SHENZHEN’S express delivery volume reached 5.98 billion parcels in 2021, ranking third in China, according to Statistics from the State Post Bureau of the People’s Republic of China, Shenzhen Evening News reported Sunday. China’s express delivery volume in 2021 topped 100 billion for the first time, ranking first in the world for eight consecutive years. |
