Govt. to boost support for export credit insurance THE government said Wednesday that it is stepping up support for export credit insurance to spur the stable growth of foreign trade, especially for countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, emerging markets and free-trade zone partners. According to a circular released by the Ministry of Commerce and the China Export & Credit Insurance Corp., Chinese regulators will help enterprises make full use of policy tools to optimize the role of export credit insurance in risk protection. Firms required to disclose environmental info THE government has unveiled a regulation requiring enterprises to disclose their environmental information in a timely manner and in accordance with the law, according to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on Wednesday. The disclosure of environmental information is common practice globally in implementing corporate environmental responsibility, said Yan Gang, deputy chief of the Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning under the ministry. Enterprises with large-scale emissions of pollutants, high environmental risks, and those discharging toxic and harmful substances, among others, are identified as the subjects of environmental information disclosure, according to Yan. Boeing to have 15 aircraft conversion lines in China BOEING’S total number of passenger-to-freighter aircraft conversion production lines in China will reach 15 by the end of this year, Boeing China said Thursday. Boeing and its local and global partners will facilitate the progress of the production lines for Boeing converted freighters (BCF) in China to meet growing market demands for freighters, according to Boeing China. By the end of this year, there will be 12 production lines for the 737-800 BCF projects and three for 767 BCF projects across China. Airbus delivers 142 commercial aircraft to China AIRBUS delivered a total of 142 commercial aircraft to the Chinese market in 2021, Airbus China said Wednesday. China remained Airbus’ largest single-country market globally. Commercial aircraft deliveries in the country accounted for more than 23 percent of Airbus’ global deliveries in 2021, according to Airbus China. The delivery volume also marks a year-on-year increase of more than 40 percent compared with its deliveries in the Chinese market in 2020. |
