A side-by-side photo between a girl dressed in the likeness of the famous painting “Girl with a Pearl Earring” and the digital copy of the original painting by famous Dutch artist Jan Vermeer. Art teachers from Fanshen Experimental School (Western Campus) came up with the idea for students to simulate famous paintings by renowned artists such as Van Gogh, Monet and Da Vinci. On Tuesday, simulations from the students, including the work from Grade 4 student Chu Xinyi, went viral on their parents’ WeChat moments.
