Let’s go to Wutong Mountain to enjoy spring blossoms
    2022-03-31  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

An aerial view of a trail dotted with Rhododendron moulmainense in full blossom in Wutong Mountain in Luohu District yesterday. Around 10,000 of these trees were planted in Wutong Mountain, where the seventh Rhododendron Moulmainense Festival is being held until April 13. Rhododendron moulmainense, or Westland’s rhododendron, is a flowering evergreen shrub native to South China and Southeast Asia. In Shenzhen, its flowering period is from March to April and its fruiting period is from May to June. Wutong Mountain National Forest Park reopened to the public yesterday after days of closure due to the pandemic.Liu Xudong
