Ferry service resumes

THE ferry service between Shekou and Macao operated by Shenzhen Oceanus Group will resume tomorrow.

A total of 12 one-way ferry trips will be available between Shekou Cruise Homeport and Macao between 9:15 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

Outbound travelers to Macao are required to show their health code and a nucleic acid test result issued within 24 hours. Inbound travelers to Shenzhen are required to show their health code and a negative 48-hour nucleic acid test result.

Supplies to HK

DAILY supplies to Hong Kong via overwater transport reached 32,000 tons in 5,464 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) carried by 45 vessels March 31, a new record since marine routes were opened in Shenzhen to ensure supplies to Hong Kong.

Since Feb. 19, a total of 665,000 tons of supplies had been transported to Hong Kong, the city’s transport bureau said.

Pet care center

A PET care center that can accommodate 300 pets were put into use at Jingkou Community, Guangming District recently, offering help to those people who are put under quarantine and health observation.
