SHENZHEN popular science education base federation recently organized a company to donate 40 air purifiers to Quanhai Primary School and Xinzhou Middle School in Futian District to support the schools’ COVID prevention, according to Shenzhen Special Zone Daily.

“We hope to help create a safe learning environment for students and teachers,” said workers from the federation.

The federation and Shenzhen Era Jut Technology Company, provider of the 40 free air purifiers, decided to donate to the two schools since they are located in Shatou Subdistrict where COVID cases were first reported after the Spring Festival this year.

The school planned to place the machines near the campus’ entrances and exits in order to make full use of the machine’s function to protect against COVID.

The federation has organized companies to donate anti-pandemic materials worth over 300,000 yuan (US$47,130) including face masks, personal protective equipment and air purifiers to the city’s communities and schools since the beginning of this year.(Wang Jingli)
