Sea World

Chinese illustrator Tango is exhibiting his cat-themed cartoons at an exhibition (38 yuan) through June 26. The artist has gained global popularity for his quirky cartoons, which poke fun at the oddities of modern life. Meanwhile, “Values of Design: China in the Making” is a permanent exhibition exploring the growing field of Chinese design. The exhibition (68 yuan) was curated by Shenzhen’s Design Society with the V&A Museum in Britain.

‘Boomerang’

Art lovers can view about 100 contemporary artworks by 70 artists during the “Boomerang — OCAT Biennale 2021” through May 22. OCAT Shenzhen requires booking (WeChat account: “OCATShenzhen”) and offers free admission; OCT Art & Design Gallery’s ticket is 30 yuan (free on Tuesdays) and no booking is required; OCT Ecological Square is free.
