City launches job fairs for college graduates
    2022-04-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A TOTAL of 13 job fairs for college graduates will be held in Shenzhen from April to November, sources from the city’s human resources and social security bureau said.

Employers in Shenzhen, new graduates of colleges and universities, and those graduates who have not been employed within two years after leaving the campus, can attend the fairs for free, the bureau said.

Enterprises in the city’s pillar industries and emerging industries, as well as leading enterprises in other industries, will be invited to participate in the event. The fairs will be divided into different types, with ones tailored for IT, artificial intelligence (AR), and State-owned enterprises, to improve recruitment efficiency.

The bureau said they planned five offline campus job fairs, which will be held at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen Institute of Technology, University Town of Shenzhen, Shenzhen Polytechnic and Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology.

Each job fair will invite 100 or more Shenzhen-registered enterprises, with some offering posts for interns.

The online recruitment season will last from April through November on the event’s website (https://szggjy.zshr.cn), with different themes featuring the IT industry, financial industry, emerging industry, real estate industry, State-owned enterprises, biomedicine, artificial intelligence and special job fairs for those with master’s degrees or doctorates. Each job fair will invite 60 or more enterprises and offer over 10,000 jobs.  (Windy Shao)
