

For the Class of 2021, 83 Chinese graduates reported continuing education. Of them, 35.42% (34) and 51.04% (49) will study abroad and at home, respectively. Among those studying abroad, 17 were offered scholarship of government-sponsored overseas education program by the China Scholarship Council, including 11 from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics and six from the Faculty of Materials Science. A total of 30 graduates, 88.24% of the total who plan to continue their education overseas, have been admitted into MSU. The rest opted for top-ranking universities in the U.K. and Hong Kong. The top domestic program reported for Chinese graduates is a joint master’s program launched by MSU and Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, with 44 of them attending. The rest are continuing education at prestigious Chinese universities. Eighty out of 83 (96.39%) graduates were admitted by the top 100 universities on the QS ranking, including Shenzhen MSU-BIT University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen. Three graduates (3.61%) received an offer from higher education institutions listed in the country’s project of building world-class universities and first-class disciplines. |
