The Yunfu-Shekou Combined Port, which started operations on May 2, not only reduces logistics time but also lowers customs clearance costs by 30%. So far, 16 ports in Pearl River Delta cities have joined the program which takes advantage of the Pearl River estuary and Shenzhen Port’s ocean shipments.
