SF Airlines expands all-cargo freighter fleet to 70
    2022-05-05  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

SF Airlines, China’s largest air-cargo carrier, has expanded the size of its all-cargo freighter fleet to 70.

The latest member of the SF Airlines fleet, a B767-300 widebody freighter, has already begun serving the Shenzhen-Beijing route, said SF Airlines. The total sum of SF Airlines’ B767-300 freighters has reached 14. These widebody freighters are mainly serving on the routes linking China with South and Southeast Asia.

The continuously expanding number of widebody freighters in the SF Airlines fleet boost its air logistics capacity and help it better serve the people.

Headquartered in Shenzhen, SF Airlines is the aviation branch of China’s delivery giant SF Express.

The airline has cultivated an all-cargo freighter fleet that is capable of serving long-, medium- and short-haul air-cargo transportation. Its global cargo-route network has played a role in ensuring the transport of critical supplies during the pandemic period.

SF Airlines is committed to providing safe, efficient and stable air-logistics services, continuously strengthening its modern fleet management and capacities to better serve the air-logistics sector, said the airline.

China plans to build a preliminary “safe, smart, efficient and green” air-logistics system by 2025, according to a plan issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China this February.

China has made steady progress in air logistics development in recent years. As of the end of 2020, the country’s air cargo transport services were available in 237 domestic cities and 62 countries or regions, official data shows.(Xinhua)
