‘The Lost Kingdom’

An exhibition of bronzewares from the ancient Dian kingdom in Yunnan gives a glimpse into the history and culture of the area from 2,000 years ago. The exhibition runs until Sept. 18.

Fossils and woodcarvings

To find out what was going on in the oceans when dinosaurs dominated the land, visit the marine reptile fossil specimen exhibition organized by Shenzhen Museum and Zhejiang Museum of Natural History. See some complete fossils of these prehistoric sea animals at the “Journey to the Sea” exhibition which runs until Aug. 14. Meanwhile, exquisite gold-coated woodcarvings and gold lacquer items collected by the Shenzhen Museum and Guangdong Folk Craft Museum are on display until Oct. 8.

Zhou Li’s works

Shenzhen artist Zhou Li is exhibiting her abstract paintings and installations, all in a pink tone, at an exhibition. She uses mixed media, including oil paint, washes of ink, charcoal and cotton cloth.

‘Future New World’

Colorful artworks by Takashi Murakami, Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst and more artists are on display at the “Future New World” exhibition until June 7. Some works of the shopping mall’s earlier “Futuristic Aesthetics” exhibition still can be seen, such as T-rex sculptures by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama and a Mickey Mouse sculpture by OG Slick.
