A Mediterranean feast at Kempinski
    2022-05-27  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

FOODIES in town are invited to try a healthy and nutritious feast at Kempinski Shenzhen every Friday and Saturday evening during their Mediterranean Gourmet Festival through the end of June.

The Mediterranean diet is based on the traditional cuisines of Greece, Italy and other countries that border the Mediterranean Sea.

The foundation for this healthy diet includes an abundance of plant foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and legumes, which are minimally processed, seasonally fresh, and grown locally. Guests can try an array of Mediterranean culinary highlights, including the royal couscous with chicken sausage, Moroccan chicken tagine, gazpacho, stewed blue mussels with white wine and much more. These dishes high in fiber and low in calories will pamper your taste buds while helping you to stay healthy. The Mediterranean buffet provides a free flow of beverages. Gathering with friends and family to enjoy delicious food at the hotel’s Seasons Restaurant is a wonderful way to start your weekend.(Li Dan)
