A sea turtle makes its way back to the sea on a ship in Qixing Bay Wharf in the eastern waters of Shenzhen on Monday. The green turtle, a rare and endangered marine animal protected at the national level, was rescued in January 2020, when it was found to be lethargic and have no predatory ability. After two and a half years of treatment and training, the turtle now has the ability to survive in the wild. The activity was organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, which also released missions of fish and shrimp fries to improve Shenzhen’s marine fishery ecological resources.
