A helicopter lands at the helipad of the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital (HKU-SZH) on Friday when the helipad was put into use. The helipad, covering an area of 615 square meters, is located in the south of the hospital’s outpatient square. It is connected with the hospital’s emergency center to facilitate first aid and patient transfer. The helipad is also equipped with a lighting control room and a firefighting equipment room, which can be used for emergency, firefighting and disaster relief in the hospital area.
