He Xiangning

A grand exhibition of the He Xiangning Art Museum’s collection is offering a panoramic and in-depth review of He Xiangning’s contributions in Chinese revolution, overseas Chinese affairs and art creation, as well as the museum’s achievements. The exhibition ends July 3.

Fossils and woodcarvings

To find out what was going on in the oceans when dinosaurs dominated the land, visit the marine reptile fossil specimen exhibition which runs until Aug. 14. You will see some complete fossils of prehistoric sea animals. Meanwhile, exquisite gold-coated woodcarvings and gold lacquer items collected by the Shenzhen Museum and Guangdong Folk Craft Museum are also on display until Oct. 8.

Sea World

Chinese illustrator Tango is exhibiting his cartoons at an exhibition (38 yuan) until June 26. The artist is known for his quirky cartoons. Shenzheners can also enjoy a fashion feast provided by Dutch duo Viktor & Rolf. The exhibition (128 yuan), running until Oct. 8, features up to 80 iconic haute couture and ready-to-wear collections by the duo. And “The Previous and Present Lives of Memphis Style” exhibition, which runs until July 31, shows cheerfully colored designs of the Memphis Group.
