‘Artificial Enlightenment’

Two young Chinese artists Zoe Li and Rita Shi are exhibiting their works at the “Artificial Enlightenment” exhibition through July 16. Li investigates the abstract roles of human beings in a technological world, exploring the position of “self” within a system, which might be its cultural and historical heritage, a virtual space, or the physical world. Shi’s works explore the relations between humans, nature and technology.

Hours: 10 a.m.-6 p.m., closed Mondays, Sundays

Piano recital

Music lovers can sense the intimacy and final confidence of Brahms in his four late piano works (“Seven Fantasias, Op. 116,” “Three Intermezzi, Op. 117,” “Six Piano Pieces, Op. 118” and “Four Piano Pieces, Op. 119”) to be played by Liu Yuntian on Saturday night.

Mickey exhibition

Immerse yourself in “Mickey: The True Original & Ever Curious Exhibition” (98 yuan) which runs until July 3 and celebrate all things Mickey for the cute mouse’s 90th anniversary. Presented by Disney and UCCA Lab, the exhibition showcases artworks by over 50 artists including Daniel Arsham and Amanda Ross-Ho.
