Folk songs and lieder

Chinese soprano Wu Lin and baritone Ren Ting will sing Chinese and Western folk songs and lieder pieces at a concert Saturday.

‘One Starry Night’

“One Starry Night — Out of the Blue” combines art and education. At the multimedia show, children will encounter 28 pieces painted by nine masters including Van Gogh, Monet and Da Vinci. Renowned ancient Chinese paintings by Wang Ximeng and Zhang Zeduan are also featured in the show to highlight the diversity of the world’s fine arts.
