Tram rails of the Pingshan Sky Shuttle project in Pingshan District are seen in this photo taken Monday. With the rail’s last beam installed in its place Monday, rail laying on Phase I of the project’s Line 1 has been completed. The project’s next step will be connecting it to a power supply in July. The elevated tram line’s Phase 1 runs 8.506 kilometers between Pingshan high-speed railway and BYD stations. There will be 11 stations along the way, with three Metro transfer stations. There will be driverless trams from BYD operating along the rail with a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour.  Ye Yangte
