2021-07-01 Don Rechtman, a musician from California, the U.S., has created a song for China to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The song draws inspirations from stories about the Dongjiang Column of Guangdong People’s Guerilla Force Against Japanese Aggression and is a tribute to the people who fought bravely to create the peaceful, happy life we lead today. Its title “In March Azaleas Bloom All Over the Mountain” is the depiction of a scene often found at Wutong Mountain in March. “In all my life, I’ve been looking for a government that was caring for the people, and I came across China. This is the kind of people, the kind of government, and the kind of place that I love,” said Rechtman. |
