Sea World

An exhibition (128 yuan) running until Oct. 8 features up to 80 iconic haute couture and ready-to-wear collections by Dutch duo Viktor & Rolf. “The Previous and Present Lives of Memphis Style” (88 yuan), which runs until Aug. 9, shows dazzling designs from the Memphis Group. And at the “Maurizio Cattelan: Wish You Were Here” exhibition (128 yuan) running until Oct. 16, Maurizio Cattelan presents more than 20 artworks, including sculptures, murals and a performance. In Cattelan’s trademark playful and thought-provoking manner, these inspiring artworks further extend his explorations into human desire and longing.

Two exhibitions

Along with the launch of the Guan Shanyue Digital Art Museum, the “Infinite” exhibition at the Guan Shanyue Art Museum displays how the digital art museum works and reviews the physical art museum’s development in the past 25 years. AR and VR tools help to explain artistic techniques and tell the stories behind Guan Shanyue’s paintings. The exhibition runs until Aug. 21. Meanwhile, the “High Road Leads to the Cloud” exhibition running until next year features Jinggangshan-themed paintings created by master Guan.

Pingshan Art Museum

“Rebirth and Resonance,” an exhibition marking the third anniversary of the Pingshan Art Museum, showcases 21 artworks collected by the art museum. Meanwhile, two more exhibitions, “Tracing Peach Blossom Spring” and “Materialization,” are also being held at the art Museum. The former showcases Shenzhen artist Zhou Li’s paintings and installations. The latter displays Romania-born artist Daniel Knorr’s works.
