    2022-08-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Practicing forward rolls, one of the core movements in Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), Michael Fang did the warmup drills under the instructor’s guidance in a kids’ class with other students. Despite being visually impaired, the 8-year-old didn’t just go through the motions. Instead, he buckled down to the exercises.

“I’ve been practicing it [BJJ] since last year. I found it interesting, and I like the feeling of an actual combat,” Michael said.
