Edgar Plans’ works

Spanish artist Edgar Plans has brought his Little Hero character in a basketball-themed exhibition titled “Game On!” (78 yuan) running until Sept. 20. Wearing NBA jerseys, Little Hero has been transformed into Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, LeBron James and other stars in an array of colorful sculptures.

Ukiyo-e

Ukiyo-e woodblock prints by renowned Japanese masters, including Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige and Kitagawa Utamaro, as well as immersive multimedia screens, are on display at an exhibition (119 yuan) running until Oct. 16.

Contemporary art

Sixty artworks by contemporary artists from around the world, such as Chiharu Shiota, Bobbie Burgers, Egami Etsu, Matias Sánchez, Yoshitomo Nara and Kaws, are on display at an exhibition (48 yuan, including a cup of coffee) running until Sept. 18.

Lin Jian’s photography

A documentary photography exhibition featuring old and new photos shot by Guizhou photographer Lin Jian is being held at an exhibition running until Sept. 18. The 60-year-old photographer’s 40 years of photographic works can be seen as an epic of the changes in the lives of ordinary people in Guizhou.

‘The Siløs Metaverse’

More than 60 artists are presenting digital artworks to create a futuristic world at “The Siløs Metaverse” exhibition (188 yuan) running until March 31, 2023.
