THE 2023 Shenzhen State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) Job Fair is scheduled to be launched online Saturday, the event’s organizer, Shenzhen Talent Group, announced Thursday.

At the fair, nearly 200 municipal SOEs will offer over 7,000 positions for fresh college graduates. Shenzhen Investment Holdings, Shum Yip Group, Shenzhen Metro Group, Shenzhen Airport, Guosen Securities, Shenzhen Energy Group and other enterprises are expected to search for quality candidates among talents from various majors like civil engineering, economics, law, materials science, computer science, electrical engineering and automation.

The recruitment will be organized via an online one-stop service platform called “菁英聚鹏城,” which enables jobseekers to submit resumes, get interviewed and sign agreements with firms.

The job fair’s launch ceremony livestream is set to start at 2 p.m. Saturday and the event will run until August next year. In addition, eight online subvenues will be set up in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Xi’an, Changsha, Chengdu and Chongqing.

Recruiters and jobseekers can follow the “深圳国资招聘” WeChat account and log on to the “菁英聚鹏城” WeChat miniprogram to participate in the career fair.

In 2017, Shenzhen’s State-owned assets supervision and management commission hosted the first SOEs job fair.

As of this August, the event had attracted more than 280 SOEs from Shenzhen and nearly 5 million graduates from home and abroad. Over 13,000 graduates landed jobs through the fair.
