A TOTAL of 30 newly certified science education bases in Nanshan District were announced at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Shenzhen Science Popularization Month on Saturday.

The bases include Shenzhen Safari Park and Shenzhen Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Ltd., where science popularization activities are organized for the public, Shenzhen Evening News reported.

The ceremony also unveiled four outstanding enterprises and institutions that organized science popularization activities in 2021, namely Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Shenzhen University Marine Culture and Art Research Center, Shenzhen Erebo Co. Ltd. and Shenzhen Book City Nanshan Store.

A science popularization exhibition presenting the development of the city’s 20 strategic emerging industries and eight future industries is now showing at Talent Scout House in Nanshan District. The exhibition will last for about three months.

Nanshan District has also invited academic figures, such as Yu Ming, a professor from Southern University of Science and Technology, to give lectures. More activities can be accessed via Talent Scout House’s WeChat account (ID:sarcg1101).
