Egrets roost in Shenzhen Bay on Monday. Thanks to the improved ecosystem and habitat diversity, Shenzhen has become a paradise for birds, including such resident birds as egrets and Chinese pond herons, and migratory birds. Shenzhen is an important stopover on migratory birds’ journey between Australia, their wintering grounds, and Siberia, their breeding grounds.
