    2022-10-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

(L) Students of a middle school in Dali, Southwest China’s Yunnan Province, attend the first science lecture from China’s Wentian lab module yesterday. The third live class from China’s space station was delivered by Shenzhou-14 crew members Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe to students on Earth. The main classroom was located at Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The class was also attended by students from other three classrooms in Shandong, Henan and Yunnan provinces. The previous two lectures of the “Tiangong Class” series were delivered by the Shenzhou-13 crew from the station’s core module Tianhe. (R) At the class, a student of the Dali school talks about the growth of Arabidopsis thaliana on Earth, a small flowering plant of the mustard family often used by scientists to study mutations.
