







THE Spring/Summer 2023 Shenzhen Fashion Week will wrap up tomorrow with a closing ceremony at Dalang Fashion Town in Longhua District. The main venues of the 10-day fashion extravaganza were OCT Harbor in Nanshan District and One Avenue in Futian District, with some sideline events held at OLAB in Overseas Chinese Town, Gateway One in Sea World and The MixC Qianhai. Nearly 70 runway shows with over 300 brands have presented their Spring/Summer 2023 collections. Themed “We Can Be,” this fashion week is the world’s first carbon-neutral fashion week, according to its organizers. Now through the end of the year, a spinoff exhibition showcasing Chinese ethnic minority garments with modern twists is being held at The MixC Qianhai shopping mall. The Futian venue’s activities emphasized a vigorous and fashionable Futian. The Nanshan venue introduced fashion brands and designers from Hong Kong and Macao to promote the connectivity of cultural and creative industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. And Dalang Fashion Town in Longhua is well on its way to becoming an international fashion industrial cluster.(SD News) |
