A group of expats pose for a photo during a self-organized blood donation event at the Huaqiangbei blood center in Futian District yesterday. The event, initiated by three Indian families, aimed to encourage more people to donate blood and give back to the community. Participants of yesterday’s donation, the fourth such event since last year, are mostly from India, and a few come from France and South Africa.
